Who built this, and why

PROWLER is a demonstration of a competitive market intelligence capability for the Australian defence market, built by Matthew Lonsdale. It is a working dashboard, not a slide deck: it ingests live open-source signals, enriches them into a structured record, and presents them in the way a standing CMI function would.

The intent is straightforward. Rather than describe how I would build a competitive market intelligence function from scratch, I built one. Every design choice here, from the source list to the neutral framing to the boundary on person-level data, reflects how I think the function should run inside a defence prime.
